Welcome and greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ:
How happy we are that you have chosen Greater Grant Memorial as the place to serve our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
I am honored to have this opportunity to welcome you to the Greater Grant Memorial AME Church family. For some one hundred twenty-five plus years, Grant Memorial has served as a beacon to those persons seeking refuge from the burdens and trials of the world.
It is my belief that you have found your church home a safe haven where you will receive restoration and renewal. My prayer is that you find this ministry as much an inspiration and blessing to your life as I have.
The New Members class will provide you with vital information about the “what and whys’, the mission, vision, and values of our denomination/church family. As you review these documents, please take time to digest our history, but read with a sense of anticipation of where we’re headed and how you will participate in making this vision come to fruition. We aren’t seeking parade watchers, but we’re looking for drum majors, section leaders, and active marching participants along the route.
The highpoint of my ministry is the opportunity to serve and support God’s people at times of joy and times of difficulty; such as, births, hospitalizations and surgeries, deaths, family crises, celebrations, losses and weddings. If there is any assistance you and/or your family may need, please let me know. Remember, I am here to serve you, and look forward to the opportunity to be of service.
I am excited for the plans and purposes that God has for your life.
Again, I say welcome!
Pastor Tan C. Moss
